Agenda for the April 25th MPPDC Meeting

The Middle Peninsula Planning Commission will be meeting at 7:00 pm in Saluda, Va on April 25th.  The agenda items for discussion during this meeting are as follows:
  1. Presentation on Phase 3 Climate Change: Initiating Adaptation Public Policy
    Development.
  2. Preliminary Report from Overall Program Design and Budget Committee.
  3. Executive Session to Discuss Personnel Issues as permitted by Virginia Code 2.2-
    37811 (A)(1)
  4. Other Business
  5. Adjournment

I know many of you have attended these meetings and I commend you for your dutiful actions, but we must stay vigilant. The topics for this meeting demand our attention.  This commission is and has been making rules/laws that impact our rights and how we may live our lives and use our land without being questioned or vetted.  It is time for that to change, the employees of the MPPDC needed to be vetted and continually monitored by the public.  It is truly a shame that in the past our Commissioners and Citizen Representatives have failed to inform the people of the actions being considered by the MPPDC and that still to this day most information concerning actions of the MPPDC is gathered by private citizens  that have attended their meetings.  Again, I commend each and everyone of you that attend these meetings.
