Please make time to attend this all important event. It is not often that we get a chance to converse with someone that presides over the Virginia Board of Education. It is an opportunity of immeasurable means to have our thoughts and ideas put before the President of the State Board of Education .... who knows, we could have an impact on the direction of education within Mathews and the State. I hope each and everyone of my readers will attend and will join in the question and answer session.
Bob Sherrill will be chairing the meeting and Marilyn Rainville will be the MC. Personal Invitations have been extended to the entire Mathews County School Board, Superintendent and his assistant. I hope that our Board of Supervisors will also see the importance of attending. But if they don't, we the resident can show Mr. David Foster that we care about our educational system here in Mathews County.
